My planning time is Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday from 2:00-2:30. I am available then to return calls and address any concerns you may have. Please call the school at 252-1768 and leave a message for me and I will return your call during my planning time.
Homework is assigned every Monday. It is due (completed) on Friday. I do check it throughout the week just to see how your child is progressing on the mastery of their skills-not for correctness. All math problems MUST have their work shown and all reading strategies must be used.

This week we are working on the following math skills.
MD 5 Recognize area as an attribute of plane figures and understand concepts of area measurement.
MD 6 Measure area by counting unit squares
MD 7 Relate area to the operations of addition and multiplication
We will continuing review all our multiplication fact (0-12's) as well as two and three digit addition and subtraction with and without regrouping.
